Weather During Peak Safari Season

From May through mid-September, mornings and evenings are cool while daytime temperatures are generally pleasant. Game viewing is excellent as animals gather near reliable water, and the Okavango Delta’s seasonal flood supports exceptional water-based safari experiences.

March & April Note

The rains lessen and summer temperatures begin to cool. River levels rise, the flood can begin arriving toward the end of March, and fewer visitors and lower rates can make this a very attractive time to travel.
