  • Botswana:  No water in the flood channels of the Okavango. Can be hot. Excellent in Deception Valley
  • Kenya: Tsavo-thick bush & good wildlife. Mara doable, but not perfect conditions
  • Malawi: Nyika Plataeu-pleasant weather, beautiful vegetation, great birds and babies
  • Mozambique: very hot, wet
  • Namibia: Hot, can be wet, wildlife is dispersed.
  • Rwanda: Very wet, chimp trekking is best
  • South Africa: can be crowed in the Cape, hot lush on safari, great birding, babies, can be wet
  • Tanzania: Good for safari, Crater good all year round
  • Uganda: Dry season, hazy, some areas quite hot.
  • Zimbabwe: Some lodges closed, hot but good birds, river too high for rafting at Falls
  • Zambia: Liuwa Plains Excellent, other areas most lodges closed.
  • Zimbabwe: Falls river is high, some lodges closed for safri, hot, good birds
